SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:

CBT Nuggets is seeking an IT professional to manage an online merchandising program (eBay, Amazon, Craigslist, etc.) We are currently liquidating an abundance of company owned computer equipment, and anticipate continued opportunities for liquidating computer equipment on an ongoing basis moving forward. The ideal candidate needs to be able to: inventory and track equipment, research and identify resale value, and manage the entire sales process through online merchants (including taking photos, managing postings, organizing shipping, and tracking payments).

SKILLS/ COMPETENCIES/ EDUCATION:
Education & Experience:
- Must have experience selling on eBay
- Excellent writing skills – you will be required to submit a writing sample
- Online merchandising/marketing experience
- Strong understanding of technology with an IT background
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Catalog product photography
- Progress reporting (tracking of sales and payments)
- Ability to work independently
- Extremely organized
- Must have a valid driver’s license and be approved by CBT Nuggets’ insurance carrier to drive on behalf of the company (including operating any company owned vehicle)
Additional Skills: Must be a self-starter that is passionate about IT, personal growth, and learning in general. Must have exceptional planning and organizational skills, empathy for IT Professionals and an understanding of their role and training needs. Must be committed to the CBT Nuggets values.
