The SheerID Software Development Team is looking for a motivated and skilled solutions engineer to join our fast-paced agile startup company. We’re looking for the next member of our successful and highly motivated team, to deliver cutting-edge technology to our clients, and participate in decisions which directly impact our future trajectory. The ideal candidate will have experience working in all aspects of the software lifecycle in an SaaS context. Strong object-oriented JavaScript application development experience is required, additional experience with either Java or Python programming is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Work with SheerID customers to understand business goals and define technical requirements
- Assist the sales organization by serving as a integration subject matter expert in client meetings and email discussions
- Design and develop integration solutions to meet specific customer requirements, using existing SheerID APIs and application components
- Customize the layout and behavior of verification web applications using CSS, JavaScript and Velocity templates
- Identify opportunities for automation and UX improvements, communicate requirements to the application development team
- Create and publish sample code and SDKs for use by third-party developers when building SheerID integrations
- Write unit and integration tests while developing new code, backfill tests for existing applications
